Retro inspiration
The industrially designed C 3050 was inspired by a stereophonic amplifier NAD 3030, a 1970s classic. Vintage styling features include dual illuminated VU meters, source selector knobs, walnut vinyl-clad cabinet, and dark gray spredher record with the original New Acoustic Dimension logo in cursive script from the 1970s.
Completely modern
C 3050, which uses NAD-'s acclaimed HybridDigital UcD amplifier technology, has a power rating of 100 watts per channel continuous and 135 wpc instantaneous, for easy reproduction of musical transitions.
Noise and distortion are virtually undetectable throughout the entire audio range. The result is a neutral, inviting sound through any speaker load – even at high volumes.
C 3050 will beredrehearsed the music you love with beautiful detail, impressive three-dimensionality and exciting dynamics.
The digital part uses a differential DAC The high-resolution Texas Instruments PCM5242, a design renowned for its excellent dynamic performance, enables the C 3050 to deliver incredible musicality, stunning clarity and precise soundstage from all your digital sources.
Designed with the future in mind
The C 3050 is equipped with the latest generation of technology NAD Future-ready Modular Design Construction, MDC2, which allows users to add new functions and features by inserting an additional module into the MDC2 slot on the rear panel.
The MDC2 is a completely new design that enables bidirectional communication between the expansion module and the host component.
Optional module MDC2 BluOS-D, available upon request, offers two highly desirable capabilities: high-resolution music streaming BluOS and Dirac Live room correction.
World of music
With dual-band Wi-Fi and Gigabit Ethernet, the MDC2 BluOS-D module, available upon request, connects you to almost all music ever recorded via BluOS, the award-winning wireless music control system. Using the intuitive app BluOS With the Controller, listeners can access over 20 popular streaming services, including many that offer lossless and high-resolution audio, such as Amazon Music Ultra HD, Deezer, Qobuz and Tidal.
BluOS supports high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/192 kHz and has the ability to decode and render MQA for studio-quality streaming. MDC2 BluOS-D also allows you to predStream music from your personal library and thousands of internet radio stations through the C 3050 stereo amplifier.
MDC2 BluOS-D supports Spotify Connect and Tidal Connect, so you can predyou need music in the apps for these services, then predtransfer your workout to the C 3050. Apple AirPlay 2 is also supported, so you can stream audio to the MDC2 BluOS- D from any app on your iPhone, iPad, or Macintosh computer. PredYou can also control the workout with your voice using Amazon Alexa or Apple Siri.
With MDC2 installed BluOS-D the C 3050 can be part of a whole home music system with up to 64 zones. In different rooms you can predyou need different music, each has an independent nadvolume control, or the same music predin different rooms at the same time. Thanks to the bidirectional MDC2 architecture, you can stream music from any source connected to the C 3050 to components that support BluOS, in other rooms.
Dirac Live – highest-resolution acoustic calibrationreda
MDC2 BluOS-D allows C 3050 owners to address the weakest link in most music systems – the listening environment. Connect the included microphone to the MDC2 USB port BluOS-D and follow the instructions in the easy-to-use Dirac Live app. Dirac will predpractice test tones through your speakers, analyze the results, and then create correction filters that will eliminate common acoustic problems like standing waves and unwanted reflections. The results are transformative. With Dirac Live* enabled, you'll experience vastly improved bass definition, greater tonal accuracy, and more precise imaging. With the MDC2's two-way communication capability, you'll enjoy these predwith all sources connected to the C 3050. You can create up to five Dirac settings for different listening positions or room conditions, for example whether the curtains are open or closed.

With its full range of digital and analogue inputs, the C 3050 can accommodate all your source components. Vinyl lovers will appreciate the C 3050's MM turntable stage with its exceptionally quiet sound. For watching movies and TV, the C 3050 has a port HDMI eARC for HDTV connection, allowing the C 3050 to serve as aredlooking for high-performance two- or 2.1-channel home theater setups. The C 3050 also has line analog coaxial digital and optical digital inputs.
Listeners can connect two pairs of speakers and a subwoofer. Two-way aptX HD Bluetooth connectivity lets you stream audio to the C 3050 from a smart device and stream audio from the C 3050 to a pair of wireless headphones. The C 3050 also features a dedicated headphone amplifier and jacks forredoutput/main input, allowing you to connect a more powerful amplifier and use the C 3050 as a predamplifier.
The C 3050 includes an IR remote control and has user-friendly features such as a 12V trigger and IR input.
