Freestanding Speaker JBL Stage The 280F was designed and manufactured at the world-renowned Acoustic Engineering Center of Excellence in Northridge, California. Leading the Series JBL Stage 2 boasts a height of over one meter.
This floorstanding speaker features a 2,5-way design with patented next-generation High-Definition Imaging (HDI™) technology. A 1-inch (25 mm) anodized aluminum dome tweeter and dual 8-inch (200 mm) polycellulose ribbed cone woofer deliver deep, signature JBL bass.

JBL Stage The 280F features a polycellulose ribbed cone woofers. This pure pulp bass cone has a proprietary blend of other materials added to improve its rigidity, and the ribs exude the legendary JBL design. These woofers produce deep, accurate bass that fills the room.
25mm anodized aluminum tweeter from next generation HDI™
Through intensive research into previous designs, JBL has developed a new complex geometry that improves directivity, reduced distortion and an overall neutral frequency response both on and off-axis. The Stage 2 HDI Horn is mated to an anodized aluminum dome tweeter for improved efficiency and dynamics.
