Vinyl record cleaning hands have been around since the 70s. But many people have a problem – the brush between theredexercises slips towardsredThe record is broken and no longer follows the turntable arm correctly.
We call this phenomenon "skating". With the model Sweep it S2 and use strong neodymium magnets this problem is a thing of the past.
Sweep it S2 is developed in collaboration with Klaus Mick, who received for this technology patentThe magnetic attraction between the neodymium magnet (in the upper part of the cylinder) and the iron counterweight [Fe] stabilizes the arm and ensures precise and even cleaning.
Also the aluminum housing, due to its paramagnetic properties, further affects the balance of force.
Sweep it S2 allows adjustable height (approx. 1 cm) and thus precise horizontal alignment with the plate. Correct adjustment ensures optimal cleaning power approximately 6 g, which allows for safe and effective use.
Flexible layout
You can place the cleaning arm in left corner of the turntable, and the choice of angle depends on the shape of the turntable. The best placement is one where the brush is aligned with theredino plates (vertebrae). Minor deviations (1,5–2 cm) are in advance predvisible and are easily compensated for by Sweep it S2. Larger deviations can cause increased slippage.
