Pro-Ject Optical Box E Phono is a multifunctional phono predamplifier with A/D conversion and two output options: line and digital optical!
For anyone who wants to use a turntable with devices that only have digital inputs – such as AV receivers, soundbars or all-in-one systems – this little box will be a great solution.
Optical Box E Phono It meets many needs and offers a digital optical output and a standard analog output that work simultaneously. It can therefore act as a complete 1>2 signal splitter and predexercise the same signal on two systems simultaneously.
Another very useful feature of the Optical Box E Phono is the ability to act as an expansion input for systems with a limited number of inputs.
Last but not least – this device can digitize not only gramophone signals, but also line signals from cassette players, tuners, etc. To preserve the input signal as accurately as possible, a high-resolution 24 bit / 96 kHz A/D conversion is built in.
Of course, it can also be used as a normal MM phono predamplifier with line output (3,5 mm jack), suitable for any HiFi system. The interior of the housing is surrounded by metal, which eliminates RF interference and vibration and ensures a smooth listening experience.
