Sony BRAVIA The Theatre Quad HT-A9M2 fills your room with immersive, three-dimensional sound that draws you into your favorite movies and games.
Sony BRAVIA The Theatre Quad HT-A9M2 offers an easy way to add excitement to movie night with immersive surround sound that includes effects nad head. The system comes with four wireless powered speakers that you can place on a TV stand or table or hang on the wall. A small control box connects to your TV with a single cable. This compact setup creates a large, cinematic soundstage without the need for large speakers or an A/V receiver.
Each of the four speakers has four drivers: a subwoofer, withredwoofer, soft dome tweeter, and upward-firing driver for Dolby Atmos height effects. They work together with SonyThey use 360 Spatial Sound Mapping and calibrate the sound to your space to create a room full of “phantom speakers” that simulate the effect of sound coming from all directions. This is the same technology found in the best-selling Sony The HT-A9, which has received rave reviews from customers for its ability to deliver expansive sound.

Easy, flexible setup
It's easy to get started. With the included cable HDMI connect the control box to your TV, place the speakers, and then calibrate the system using the app BRAVIA Connect. The speakers connect wirelessly to the box, so you don't have to worry about running speaker wire across the floor. And the system's sound mapping technology adapts to both the shape of your room and the configuration of your speakers. This gives you the freedom to place them almost anywhere with access to AC power.

Get more bass impact by adding the optional 300-watt SA-SW5 subwoofer (sold separately). The Quad connects wirelessly to the subwoofer for easy installation and setup.
