The WSS430 uses concave C-CAM diaphragms to provide maximum diaphragm rigidity – the main goal is to reduce distortion. Powerful Neo magnets and larger voice coils provide exceptional driving power, low magnetic leakage and a slim profile. The magnet system allows for an “under-hung” motor design, where the coil remains in the slot, further reducing distortion and increasing power handling capacity.
With a depth of just 50 mm, the WSS430 offers much more than meets the eye. MPD high-frequency converter technology – also from the series Platinum II – provides extremely low distortion and crystal clear high frequencies extending beyond 50 kHz.
