Coaxial digital cables
Coaxial digital cables
Coaxial digital cables are used for audio connections between sources such as CD or DVD players.redexercise machine, turntable or preda trainer, and another component such as an amplifier, receiver, or speaker.
Coaxial digital cables carry a digital signal from one component to another.
If you have the option to use either type of cable, you may be interested in the unique characteristics of each and which is the better choice for your purpose.
Our wide range of 75 ohm cables are available in various RCA and BNC plug configurations.
Coaxial cable is heavily stranded with shielded copper wire, which is generally made to be quite robust. Each end of a coaxial cable uses familiar RCA connectors, which are reliable and stay firmly connected. However, coaxial cables can be susceptible to RFI (radio frequency interference) or EMI (electromagnetic interference). If there are existing “hum” or “buzz” problems in the system (such as a ground loop), coaxial cable can carry this noise between components. Coaxial cables are known to lose signal strength over long distances, which is usually not a concern for the average home user.
