SVS SB-5000 R|Evolution is closed 15-inch subwoofer designed for clean, fast and deep bass reproduction up to 17Hz (±3dB)The heart of the system is dual monoblock Class-D amplifier z 2.000 W RMS in 5.000+ W peak power, which separately supplies two edge-wound voice coils for accurate naddawn and a huge supply of current. The drive consists of lightweight and rigid glass composite membrane, massive toroidal ferrite motor, 3-inch 6-layer voice coil and extreme-travel parabolic NBR ring, so the SB-5000 can easily create reference SPL without distortions. Closed case z double thick 2-inch MDF spredits plate and solid internal reinforcement ensures neutral, non-resonant performance and more compact dimensions than comparable portable solutions.
Management is simple: SVS Subwoofer app (iOS/Android/Fire) allows you to adjust the volume, 6-band PEQ, filter, phase, polarity, Room Gain compensations, memorial predsetting (music/movie/night) and Auto EQ (OTA update). For quick manual control, use last OLED screen. The result is a subwoofer that impresses with its music articulated texture in rhythmic precision, and in the movie with physically present, powerful bass, without the “boom” effect – even in larger rooms
