Digital-to-analog conversion power
It is probably at predthe most important component of practicing from a digital format DAC or a digital-to-analog converter. We'll spare you most of the science, but this is what translates otherwise inanimate binary code into sound energy. Bit depth, in turn, is a key measure of sound quality.
So if you're listening to a 24-bit WAV copy of your favorite album via DAC-ja, which only converts to 16-bit, will waste a good chunk of detail there. Arcam The ST5 outputs all digital audio to analog outputs using DAC high-resolution ESS ES9018 with real-time shake reduction.
